Granny's in the kitchen doin a bit of stitchin

Our Stitch and Bitch group had fallen apart since the end of college but reconvened again yesterday with much more stitching than bitching as we were a little preoccupied watching the tennis. It turns out I'm the best knitting teacher in the whole wide world as I taught Jack how to knit in one briefing and a three-stitch demo (no credit given to the genius of the student here at all at all) So if you or any of your friends are interested in acquiring perfect and awe-inspiring knitting skills then look no further! For a nominal pay-by-the-minute fee you can have quality one-on-one tuition in the comfort of your own home (fee is subject to change depending on quality of tea and biscuits provided per session; results not guaranteed)

This is what I did with a floor-length size 20 dress from a charity shop. I shortened and hemmed it, took it in then sewed part of an old net curtain onto the front panels... et voila!
